Dogs continue to learn their whole lives…games shape the way they learn and how they view the world. Fun and easy games help your dog grow into a confident, well-mannered, happy dog.
WHY GAMES?
Our games are based on the science of how dogs learn. They go beyond teaching behaviors and help your dog learn concepts like calmness, optimism, confidence, and value in being near you. These concepts help change or prevent common behavior problems. A dog wth these skills becomes much easier to live with and makes good choices.
STRUGGLES INTO STRENGTHS
Learn how to deal with common struggles including jumping, counter-surfing, and pulling on the leash.

Build a strong, positive relationship with your dog that sets you both up for a lifetime of success.
BEHAVIORS
Help your dog build behaviors like polite leash walking, wait, come, sit, down, and drop it. We include these behaviors in classes along with the concepts.
LIMITED CLASS SIZES
We limit class sizes to 5 dogs to ensure individual attention for all. A minimum of 2 students is required for each class.
- Life Skills Dog Training Class
Life Skills class is appropriate for dogs 6 months old or older.
Dogs never stop learning, and this class is appropriate for all ages from ‘teenager’ to senior.
In addition to learning behaviors like sit, down, wait, and the foundations for your recall and loose leash walking, your dog will learn life skills including calmness, confidence, focus, and self control. We will teach you to help your dog generalize these skills to new situations and environments.
Concept training helps your dog handle life in our world and helps them make better choices.
Class meets 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. Dogs do not attend the first session.
Cost is $190. Payment is required to reserve a space in class.

Puppy Training Class
Take advantage of a critical learning period for your puppy. Using easy, fun games, your puppy will learn important life skills including confidence, self-control, calmness, and focus on you in addition to behaviors such as sit, down, wait, and come. We also cover common puppy struggles like house-training, mouthing, jumping, and nipping.
Using games, we will help you build a great relationship with your puppy, and your puppy will learn to value engaging with you. The skills your pup learns and the relationship you build together will set you both up for success right from the start.
This class is designed for puppies from 9 weeks to 5 months old.
Class meets 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. Dogs do not attend the first session.
Cost is $180. Payment is required to reserve a space in class.
If you have a new puppy and would like assistance before the next class starts, I offer a 60 minute ‘getting started with your puppy’ session for $100 for class enrollees. This can cover topics like house training, socialization, puppy management, puppy nipping, etc.

Fun & Easy Scent Games
Why play scent games?
Build your dog’s confidence
Great mental exercise for those cold, snowy, or rainy days
Build a better relationship with your dog
Find out if scent work is something you and your dog would like to pursue further.
Just to have fun!
Open to all ages and breeds.
You will learn the basics of teaching your dog to identify, locate, and indicate to a specific scent. The games are based on training from a former trainer of police dogs.
Cost $170 for 5 week class. Registration fee includes a scent kit

Loose Leash Walking Workshop
Does your dog pull on the leash? Is your dog more focused on the world around it than on you? Would you like to develop skills to make your walks more enjoyable for you and your dog? This workshop is designed to help you!
This two hour workshop focuses on helping you and your dog develop skills to make your walks more enjoyable and stress free. You will learn simple, fun games and strategies to make your walks enjoyable for you and your dog.
All dogs must be on a harness, flat collar, or head halter, and a 4 to 6 foot leash. For the safety of all pets and owners, no ‘flexi’ or retractable leashes will be allowed in class. If you have questions about this, please contact me prior to class.
Cost $60 for the 2 hour class.
