Private Training

Initial training consultation

In-home or virtual / zoom consultations offer dog training in the privacy of your home and without the distractions of group classes.  They allow us to focus specifically on your goals and your dog’s needs.

Our private training starts with a 10 to 15 minute phone call.  This ensures we understand the behaviors you want addressed and that you have an opportunity to ask questions.  You will then complete a questionnaire to provide more details on your dog’s behaviors and your goals for the visit.  Based on this, we will determine the root causes of the behavior and develop a training plan to address those areas.  Our goal is to fix the underlying causes of the behavior, not just put a band-aid on it. 

This visit is scheduled for 90 minutes.  During the visit, we will review your dog’s behavior, training history and goals for training.  We will then review the training plan designed to help you achieve your goals.  I will explain the games and guide you through them so you are comfortable implementing the plan in your daily routine.  After the visit, I will send a summary of the games recommended.  I will be available via email to answer questions, if needed. 

Cost for this visit is $175.

Follow-up visits

Complex behavioral issues may require follow up visits to help you achieve your goals. The number and frequency of visits will depend on your goals and the severity of any behavior struggles. These visits last approximately 1 hour and focus on addressing questions and teaching you additional games to help your dog progress.

Cost for these visits are $100 each. Packages are available.

In-home consultations are available within 25 miles of Waukesha. There may be an additional charge for distances more than 25 miles from Waukesha.
